Who We Are
Pay for Paws (PFP) is a company that supports Pullman’s local humane society with money, volunteering and spreading awareness. The company also provides its customers with the opportunity to adopt a dog for a day, without the lifetime commitment. There is a template with a list of dogs available, from the humane society, that you can pick from. After a thorough background check, you will be able to rent the dog and hopefully want to adopt them. The intention behind PFP is to get people to adopt dogs from the shelter. Once you’ve rented a dog and bonded with it, you can come back again and try to adopt it. This is a unique organization in itself because there is nothing like it around the Palouse, and it is an opportunity to give back to the community as well.
PFP is located right next to the Whitman County Humane Society at 1340 Old Moscow Rd, Pullman, WA 99163. This location gives us the opportunity to stay close to the animals, while also staying in a location with fields and parks for the dogs and people to bond. It is also beneficial for our two smaller in-house companies, Proceeds for Pups and Pampered Paws. These two companies provide PFP with the money and security to help the humane society with their needs. |
